Introducing Plasma Lift

This treatment helps to reduce excess skin, tighten skin /reduce scarring /wrinkle reduction and tattoo removal is done by a plasma lift hand piece which produces tiny plasma flashes which leap to the skin.

It produces tiny brown spots on the skin which tightens pulling cells closer together.

This can help improve the appearance of skin, bringing firmer and more youthful looking skin.

Plasma Lift generates new collagen and elastin fibres, improving skin tone and texture.

Who can have this treatment? (see below image as a guide)

The ideal client would be skin types 2 and 3. Type 4 – 6 are more at risk of damage if treatments are too harsh which can cause post treatment hyperpigmentation, burning and scarring which can all lead to infection, tissue damage and inflammation.

If you have been on holiday and developed a sun tan I would recommend booking a few weeks after to ensure your skin is back to normal. Please see list below of contra-indications which will prevent you from being able to have this treatment – contact me with any questions.

Is there any downtime?

The skin may be red after the treatment and swelling could occur but this depends on each individual. After 5-7 days the spots should have reduced along with any redness. The skin will continue to heal up to 6 weeks (please note that skin could stay slightly pink for the first few weeks depending on severity of the area, your age and sensitivity).

Depending on the severity of the skin more than 1 session may be required – this will be discussed during your consultation.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is applied 30 minutes before the treatment to numb the skin so you should not feel too uncomfortable.

How long is one session?

Sessions last 30 to 45 minutes depending on the area (1 hour 30 including numbing cream being applied and consultation)

Is the treatment permanent?

The effect can remain 2 – 3 years plus. This does depend on each individual but results are long lasting.
